Griselinia Dixon's Cream
..  .
This is a very attractive variegated form of Griselinia, with irregular creamy white edges to the evergreen leaves. Its growth rate is average at approx. 30cm p.a. and although it is best trimmed to shape with secateurs in spring, it will tolerate pruning with shears. It is a little less hardy than the non variegated variety so it prefers a sunny, sheltered site and should be covered with fleece in severe frosts. It likes a light well-drained soil and is happy in seaside gardens.
